Nurse Practitioners

Andy Vokes

Maxine Williamson

The nurse Practitioners will work alongside the duty doctor to meet patients’ needs for same day care. They are highly experienced and educated members of our care team  and are able to diagnose and treat healthcare needs including prescribing medication as appropriate. They are also able to refer patients to appropriate specialists if needed. Patients requesting a same day appointment may be routed to the Nurse Practitioner in the first instance, but will be passed on for a doctor’s opinion if the condition is complex. Our reception staff are trained so that they are able to route patients appropriately, and we would ask our patients to assist the receptionists by answering any questions asked.
