The surgery works in partnership with local and NHS service providers and groups.
At Orchard Surgery, we provide
over 1820 appointments every month
for GP and Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANPs) to help meet the needs of our patients.
We also offer more appointments with our experienced healthcare team which includes, Practice Nurses, Healthcare Assistants, Clinical Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, First Contact Physiotherapists, Social Prescribers, Care-Coordinators and Health & Wellbeing Coaches.
Each member of our team has specialist skills and expertise, meaning that you may not always need to see a GP to receive the care you need. In many cases, another healthcare professional may be able to assess, advise, monitor, observe or treat you more quickly.
Our triage system helps us make the best use of all these appointments by ensuring you are directed to the healthcare professional best placed to help you.
Collectively this means we provide over 6242 appointments every month
This means you can often receive the care you need more quickly, while helping to keep GP appointments available for patients with the most complex or urgent medical conditions.
