Home Visits

  • In a genuine medical emergency, please ring 999

  • Home visits are intended only for patients who are unable, because of their medical condition, to attend the practice .

  • Where possible a home visit should be requested before 10.00 am

  • We prefer patients to come to the surgery for assessment where we have better facilities and diagnostic equipment.

  • Lack of transport to the surgery is not an appropriate reason for requesting a home visit.

  • Patients are asked to bear in mind that the doctor can see and treat several patients in the practice, in the same time that it takes to carry out one home visit. Speed of treatment is improved by keeping home visits for patients who really need it.

Test Results

Please telephone the surgery on 01362 693029 after 2.00 p.m. and ask the receptionist if your results are available. For reasons of confidentiality results will only by given to the patient (unless under 16 years of age)

Repeat prescription requests can be handed in at the Reception Desk or sent by post. Whichever method is chosen, please allow TWO FULL WORKING DAYS for us to process your repeat prescription and an extra day if you want to collect your prescription from the local Chemist.

If you are ordering repeat prescriptions via our online service, please be aware that you will still need to allow TWO WORKING DAYS for us to process your request.

Lloyds Pharmacy will deliver prescriptions free of charge.
